UKALL, in collaboration with UKCCL, assesses the knowledge and skills of learners based on the evidence they provide, such as portfolios, projects, assignments, tests, or interviews. The assessment methods and tools are designed to ensure fairness, reliability, and validity.
Verification
UKALL's verification process, in accordance with UKCCL’s Assessment Schemes, enables the verification of learners' learning achievements. This process involves examining the professional knowledge quality and authenticity of the evidence, confirming that they have met the professional quality standards and criteria of the relevant qualification or certification. The verification process is conducted by both internal and external verifiers to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
Award Confirmation
UKALL offers professional qualifications or certifications that reflect the lifelong blended occupational learning outcomes and competencies of learners. These professional awards are conferred by formal and non-formal universities and professional awarding bodies. The awards are based on the UKCCL’s Credit Accumulation Transfer Scheme (CATS), which allows learners to transfer their credits between different awarding institutions.
